Activities and events

A great deal of what happens in our village is social in nature, sometimes through organized activities, sometimes through informal connections and spontaneous get-togethers. In the time that we have been deveolping the organization, many of us have expanded our circles of friends and acquaintances in ways that we could not have imagined before. There is a richness of experience available through associating with the wide and diverse group of people the village attracts.

We have periodic all-member meetings, sometimes mostly social or potlucky in nature, but often to conduct necessary business. This has been especially true during the past few formative years. We are now prepared to coordinate a variety of social, cultural, educational, and entertainment events as we continue to refine our website. There are many directions those events might go, limited only by our imaginations. This is in keeping with the purpose as stated in our bylaws: to provide services and opportunities that help our members continue living in their own homes while engaging in social, civic, and cultural activities.
