Volunteering to Help One Another

One criterion for membership is a willingness to help others in the village when able. Our members voluntarily support one another in many ways such as driving to medical appointments, doing minor home maintenance, checking on each other to see if we’re okay, taking walks, getting together for social activities, providing companionship, and sharing information on community resources.

On our internal website (reached through “Sign in” at the upper right of this page) members can post service requests for themselves and see requests from others for which volunteers are needed.  They can also enter and update information on the kinds of services they are willing to provide.
